Role responsibilities

You will be the go-to for data durability and performance — replication, failover drills, query tuning, and capacity planning under real workloads.

  • Operate PostgreSQL/MySQL estates: HA, backups, PITR, and patching.
  • Partner with application teams on schema design, indexing, and migrations.
  • Automate restores, chaos tests, and benchmarking for critical paths.
  • Drive observability for query latency, locks, and storage growth.
